Raita| Vegetable raita| Simple Indian Food | Easy & Quick Recipe









Raita:

Ingredients:

  1. Yogurt: 1 cup
  2. Cucumbers:  2
  3. Tomatoes: 1
  4. Onions: half of it
  5. Fresh coriander leaves:  chopped 1 tablespoon
  6. Green chili: 1 small
  7. Cumin powder roasted 1 teaspoon + for garnishing
  8. Cumin seeds: 1TSP
  9. Ghee: 1 TSP
  10. Salt to taste

Method

1.     Finely chop onions, cucumbers and tomatoes and place in a large bowl.

2.     Then finely chopped chili, and coriander and mix this in a bowl.

3.     Prepare tadka, keep the pan on medium flame, then add 1 tsp of ghee, when ghee is hot enough, add cumin seeds.

4.     Transfer raita into a serving bowl. Garnish with cilantro.

5.     Serve chilled.
