Are you guys running out of vegetables these days? If you are, then I will be showing you a new and interesting recipe. Papad paratha! Now without wasting time, let us start!


Ingredients for cover:
  • wheat flour 1 cup 
  • oil 1 tbsp 
  • salt 1 tsp 
  • Water ½ cup.
Ingredient for paratha: 
  • Urad dal papad: 3
  • Oil 1 TSP
  • Cumin Powder 1 tsp
  • Garlic clove or garlic powder: 2 TSP
  • Salt to taste
  • Chaat Masala to taste 
  • Anardana powder
  • Finely chopped Onion: 2 TBSP
  • Finely Chopped Green Coriander 
  • Oil 
Recipe:

  1. Knead the wheat flour dough, but make sure it is harder than normal chapati dough 
  2. Cover this dough for 10 minutes.  
  3. Separate it into four parts
  4. Bake 3 whole papad on a gas flame or in the microwave.
  5. After cooling them, crush them by hand into powder.
  6. Add all spices, chopped onions, and coriander. 
  7. The water from the onions will act as a binding agent.
  8. While we make our paratha, heat the pan on medium flame
  9. Take one part of the dough, dust in flour,  flatten it in a 3 inch diameter circle by rolling it. 
  10. Then add the 3 TBSP of stuffing, seal the dough properly, and make sure none of the stuffing falls out.
  11. Dust this dough in flour. 
  12. Roll this paratha in a 7-inch diameter circle.
  13. Flatten it slowly, and when done, place the paratha on the hot pan.
  14. When bubbles start appearing on one side, then flip it
  15. Cook this paratha evenly from both sides on low to medium heat. 
  16. Serve hot paratha with plain yogurt & green chutney.
